Remove the male from the female.
Position the male on the alveolar crest using the parallelometer mandrel, choose a direction which makes the insertion of the prosthesis easier. Join the male to the crown using adhesive wax, leaving a space of approx. 0.3 mm from the alveolar crest.
Insert the female into the male soldered to the crown, leaving a space of 0.2 mm from the female protection. Remove the screw and WL block from the female part and solder or glue it to the frame prosthesis.
Recommended solders for female: 890-920 °C. For male (ceramic) 1039-1100 °C, (resin) 750 °C or above.
Surfusion techniques may be used with wax models.
Pickle using 10% hot sulphuric acid or salts.
Adjust the retaining force using the screw (max 1/4 rotation).
Seal the opening on the screw using wax and cover with self-polymerising resin.
Do not reduce the dimensions of the attachment.
